U-19 Boys

Team Jamaica plans to attend the next FIL Boys U-19 World Championships in Limerick, Ireland, July 9 -18, 2020.

Age Limitations: 
Lower (Minimum) Age: The lower limit age that applies to all World Championships and FIL events is 16 years of age as of the day prior to Championship / Event commencement. Upper Age for Under 19 Championships
The upper age limit is that all players must be under 19 as at 31st August of the year before the Championship takes place.

Please click here to join the Boy’s U-19 Player Pool  and you will be added to our e-mail distribution list for Team Jamaica candidates for the U-19 Boys Championships, to be held July 9-18, 2020 in Limerick, Ireland. This is not a “tryout registration” it is simply being used by the JLA to capture the contacts and vital information on those in Jamaica and the Diaspora, that qualify, per the Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) eligibility rules, to represent Jamaica in World Championship competition. If one of your parents or grandparents was born in Jamaica, you would be eligible to try out for the team. Note that the team will need to have certain percentage of naturalized, passport holding Jamaicans for the FIL to accept our roster submission for World Events.
